Frances K. Roberg, 85, peacefully drifted into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 30, 2021, surrounded by her loving daughters.
Frances graduated from Marshalltown Evangelical Hospital School of Nursing in 1957. She was a VA Nurse and Medical/Surgical Nurse from 1965 to 1994. Frances was on the Volunteer Rescue Squad in Johnston from 1960 to 1965. After she “retired”, she continued to work for 10 years as a Supervisor at Calvin Manor, an assisted living facility in Des Moines.
Frances was a member of the St. Paul Church. She served as a Deacon and participated in Missions work. She loved to travel and was fortunate to see many wonderful places around the world.
Frances is survived by her daughters, Teresa Benson and Debra (Charlie) Dansby, granddaughters, Nicole Benson, Amber (Mike) Discler, grandson, Aaron (Ellyn) Meketsy and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her three siblings, her husband Fredric Roberg, and son, David Roberg.
Services will be held at St. Paul Presbyterian Church, 6426 Merle Hay Road, Johnston, Iowa on Wednesday, January 5th at 11 a.m. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time also at the church
