Frances Theresa Hayes was the eldest of her three siblings born in Moberly, MO., on June 5. 1933 to William L. Terrill and Thelma F. Terrill.
She was educated at Lincoln School in Moberly, MO., and united in marriage to Alonzo W. Hayes on July 21, 1955, and to this this union came three sons and five daughters. Frances was a resident of Des Moines, IA., until her passing.
Frances continued her education with Drake University receiving her LPN license. She worked at Planned Parenthood of America and Broadlawns Medical Center.
Frances enjoyed listening to music, shopping, and cooking. She was an active member of First God in Christ Church.
Frances is survived by her sons; William L. (Margaret) Hayes, Alonzo W. Hayes, Jr., Steven L. (Pamela) Hayes, daughters; Carla J. (Donald) Burns, Carlotta J. Hayes, Quinta L. Miller, Felita H. (Robert) Johnson and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter; Gayla Hayes, and two sisters; Laura Carson and Norva Terrill.
