Khamvilay Amanda Keopaseuth, age 51 passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. She was born on August 17, 1972 in Vientiane, Laos to Thavone Keopaseuth and Cathi Vong. She immigrated to Des Moines, IA on March 16, 1978 with her family.
Khamvilay loved to spend time with her family, listen to sombient music, and relax with her dog Tootsie. Khamvilay was a big foodie, she was often busy in the kitchen cooking for her family. She also loved to watch Thai soap operas to unwind. Occasionally she would spend her time outside either appreciating nature or with her daughters.
She is survived by her parents Thavone Keopaseuth and Cathi Vong, daughters Destiny Nguyen, Desiree Phan, and Desarina Tran; and her siblings Thong Keopaseuth and Bobby Keopaseuth.
Khamvilay will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and many people who had the privilege of knowing her.
