Leena Hill, 45, passed away on May 9, 2022.
Leena was born on December 20, 1976, in Des Moines, IA to Walter and Janet (Handeland) Bayliff. Leena grew up in the Merle Hay area in Des Moines. She attended Hoover High School, class of 1995. Leena will be remembered for being the sweetest and kindest person to everyone and the love she had for all living things. She was the first to help a child in need, and anyone needing a meal or groceries. She helped so many people that couldn’t help themselves during the 2020 pandemic.
She loved playing Pokémon Go with her kids, finding new spots to go hunt for the creatures and attending all family gatherings.
Leena is preceded in death by her father, Walter Bayliff; Grandparents, Ron and Harriet Handeland, and Dwayne and Jeanne Ginger; Uncles, Frank Bayliff and Dale Handeland; Aunts, Sandy Koenig, Chris Vanderpool and Patty Handeland; cousins, Dana Roskam and Aron Handeland.
Leena is survived by her children, Shane Bayliff, Colin Hill and Jada-Lee Hill and her fur babies; her mom, Janet Bayliff; her sister, Carey (Cathy) Ross, and many aunts, uncles, cousins that were friends and friends that were family.
