Matthew John Laffoon passed away unexpectedly at the age of 41 on July 31, 2023. The family will receive friends at the Merle Hay Chapel, 4400 Merle Hay Rd Des Moines, Wednesday, August 9, 2023, from 9 – 10:30 AM. With a celebration of life to begin at 10:30 am.
Matt worked for Cunningham Plumbing & Heating in Oskaloosa.
He is survived by his wife Bobbie, children Matthew II & Vivien, stepchildren Jalynn, Braxton, Kayden, Carter, parents Roger & Jonine, Grandmother Roberta Hatfield, mother-in-law Diane Porter, father-in-law Dennis (Julie) Porter, siblings Elijah Laffoon, Zack Russo, Josh Russo & Stephanie Bowen.
Matt was preceded in death by grandparents PaPa Joseph & Nani Angela Russo, Dino Russo and Grandfather James Laffoon.
