NYANDHAN BOTH GIEW

Nyandhan was born on January 1, 1966, to her father Both Giew and mother Nyayiech Ruach Tiel in Jekow South Sudan.Nyandhan has four brothers and two sisters namely: Yol Both Chol, Pal Both Chol, Khat Both Chol, Thanyal Both Chol, Buk Both Chol and Nyahok Both Chol. Nyandhan was preceded in death by her beloved dear husband David Gach Chawich Kier. They are survived by their four beautiful grownup children and grandchildren. They are Chol Gach Chawich, Wuor Gach Chawich, Wichieng Gach Chawich and Nyakhor Gach Chawich. They have 12 grandchildren.
Due to Civil War in Sudan Nyandhan and her family left her country Sudan to Ethiopia where they were safely welcome and settled as refugee. Nyandhan and her family moved to Kenya before they travelled to United States of America. Nyandhan and her children came to US in February 2001.
As a Self-Reliance Person, Nyandhan had been Licensed as a Child Care Provider here in Des Moines Iowa where she provided quality Child Care Services to many parents in the Community at large. She is Artist and a Beads Designer for Sudanese women to decorates their houses, South Sudan flags and she used to design a lot of other things. While in Sudan and Ethiopia she was a great Pot Maker and that was a small business for her. She opened her own Restaurant or small Hotel when she was in Dimma Refugee Camp in Ethiopia.
Nyadhan Both is a Child Care Provider, Artist and Beads Designer, Pot Maker. She is a Hard Worker woman, great mother who raised her children successfully. She loves her God, family, her community.
