Patricia McDonald of Clive, formerly of Des Moines passed away peacefully at home May 25th, 2021. Patty was born on January 21,1954 in Illinois.
Patty graduated from Des Moines East. After graduation Patty went to work at Bob Brown Chevrolet later with Norwest Bank, then worked 43 years at Wells Fargo retiring in 2020.
Patty loved bowling, playing bingo, and watching her favorite band The Cavaliers. She loved coming to family functions, picnics, birthday parties for her nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces. She loved taking them to Adventureland, the Iowa State Fair, even trips to Chicago. She enjoyed helping her friend Jani Ruggeri at her dance recitals. Patty also enjoyed the company of Merri Lenz helping her care for her mom, driving all over the midwest to hockey tournaments for Dakota Lenz. Patty was blessed to have Merri and Jani in her life and said they were more like a sister to her.
Patty is survived by her brothers, Mike(Janice) McDonald of Oakland, California, Tom(Mary) McDonald of Pleasant Hill.
There will be a private service Memorial contributions to The Ronald McDonald House.
